BRS Architects

Assorted work examples from Dean’s employment with BRS Architects, a commercial architectural firm, for which he primarily assisted project architects with project management and the coordination and preparation of drawings, and specifications, from schematic design through construction administration. Project management included a) consultant coordination, b) permit submission and review, c) documenting drawing changes associated with permitting, bid tendering, and construction, and d) reviewing and responding to RFI’s and submittals. And in addition to preparing construction drawings, design exhibits also included color renderings created in Adobe Photoshop as well as Lumion in connection with Revit models. Other services Dean helped BRS provide include BOMA calculations and feasibility studies. Projects involved ranged in scale from smaller tenant improvements, to interior/exterior grocery store remodels, to 3,000-5,000 sf cellular retail pad buildings, to a 30,000 sf clothing retail tenant, to a similarly sized performance theater and gymnasium complex for a catholic school.
